The Minerva Project, the startup university that aims to out-elite the most prestigious institutions in the world, on Wednesday announced it has so far raised $49 million out of an anticipated $70 million of Series B funding. Three Chinese firms led the round, and the funds will be used to expand Minerva's offerings. The project, which admitted its first cohort this spring, is housed at the Keck Graduate Institute.
