Capital Campaign Watch: Albion, Butler, Catholic, DePauw, Gustavus Adolphus, Seattle U, U of Wisconsin at Milwaukee

Starting Off:

• Albion College has announced a $100 million campaign to be raised in the next 18 to 24 months. Financial aid is a major focus. The college has raised $86.2 million already.
• Butler University is starting a campaign to raise $250 million by 2022. The university has already raised $170 million.
• Catholic University has started a campaign to raise $400 million by 2022. The university has already raised $259 million, including a $40 million gift for the School of Nursing.
• Gordon College has started a campaign to raise $130 million by 2024. The campaign kicked off with a $75.5 million anonymous gift.
• Gustavus Adolphus College has started a campaign to raise $225 million by 2021. The university has already raised more than $155 million.
• Seattle University has started a campaign to raise $275 million by 2021. To date, the university has raised $251 million.

Finishing Up:

• DePauw University has completed a campaign that raised $383 million. When the campaign started, in 2014, the goal was $300 million. Student financial aid and student experiences were major goals of the campaign.
• University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee has completed a seven-year campaign, raising $251 million, or 25 percent more than the original target. A major priority was student scholarships.
