The technology training company General Assembly will develop competency-based credentials in partnership with companies such as 2U, GE, and PayPal. The GA Credentialing Network, launched on Wednesday, hopes to help employers find talented new employees, as students can only earn the credentials after showing they have mastered certain competencies. The credentials will be available free next year.
