Capital Campaign Watch: Bethel, Furman, U of Dayton, Vanderbilt

The following colleges have started or finished campaigns recently.

Starting Out

• Furman University has started a campaign to raise $426 million by 2026. The university has already raised $309 million.
• University of Dayton has announced a campaign to raise $400 million. The campaign has raised $326 million so far.
• Vanderbilt University has announced a campaign to raise $3.2 billion to mark the university’s sesquicentennial. The university has raised $2.4 billion thus far.

Finishing Up

• Bethel University raised $174 million in a campaign that started in 2016. The amount is almost $25 million more than the university sought.
