Some students and faculty members have said that Rice's role promoting the war in Iraq was inconsistent with the college's Roman Catholic teachings.
  • Pat Summitt's new contract as women's basketball coach at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville breaks the $1 million barrier -- a level never achieved by a women's coach, The Knoxville News Sentinel reported.
