In a recent interview, New York University's Dana Burde discussed her studies focusing on community-based schools in Afghanistan. In today's Academic Minute, she described her work to help improve how Afghan children are educated. Burde is an assistant professor of international education at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and an affiliated research scholar at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies at Columbia University.
