The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Administration will close its Vermont satellite campus in June 2021, the Albany Times Union reported Tuesday. College officials said the decision was based on enrollment, which has been in decline since 2012.
The college’s accelerated doctor of pharmacy program will be discontinued after current students graduate.
“We will ensure all current Vermont students will have the opportunity to complete their degree program on schedule without compromising the quality of their educational experience,” regional dean Jennifer Mathews said in a statement to the Times Union.
