Clemson University in South Carolina announced Friday that it has received its largest-ever gift, a $60 million donation to its new business school. The gift is from W. O. “Billy” Powers, a South Carolina businessman in construction and property management, and his wife, Anne.

The school will now be named the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. Some of the money will go toward construction.
