College Denounces Hate Speech on Neo-Nazi Fliers

Fifty to 75 fliers saying “it’s alright [sic] to be white” and “save the white race” written on them were found on parked cars at John A. Logan College, posted by the neo-Nazi group Church of Creativity. On Friday, the college issued a statement denouncing the hate speech, the Southern Illinoisan reported.

“John A. Logan College is deeply disturbed by the recent appearance on our campus of white supremacist flyers from the Church of Creativity and feel compelled to speak out and condemn the message of intolerance the group promotes,” the statement read.

Steve O’Keefe, a college spokesperson, told the Illinoisan that whoever distributed the fliers remains under investigation.
