Four men who were charged with murder in the hazing death of a student at Baruch College pleaded guilty Monday to lesser charges of voluntary manslaughter and hindering apprehension, The New York Times reported. The Times described what happened to the pledge at the off-campus fraternity event, saying that he was "knocked out after he was blindfolded, forced to wear a backpack weighted with sand and pummeled by other fraternity members as he tried to cross a frozen yard."
