Anger Over Images of Cinco de Mayo Party

Western New England University officials are investigating social media posts that appear to portray a Cinco de Mayo party by members of the women's lacrosse team, The Daily Hampshire Gazette reported. The controversy is less over the party than Instagram photos and captions of the event. One (at right) says: "Dear Mr. Trump, glad you didn't build that wall just yet. Happy Mexican St. Paddy's Day from our honorary amigos to you." The other photo has the caption “Build that wall,” with the hashtag “#wnelax.” Students at Western New England who saw the posts on Instagram shared them, prompting much discussion on campus and beyond.
