  • Adelphi University: Marian Wright Edelman, founder and president of the Children’s Defense Fund; and Jacqueline Woodson, the author.
  • Bay Path University: Kirk Arnold, CEO of Data Intensity.
  • Blackburn College: Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs.
  • Eastern Mennonite University: Loren E. Swartzendruber, who is retiring as president of the university.
  • Georgia Southern University: Stephen Harmon, professor and chair of the Learning Technologies Division in the College of Education and Human Development at Georgia State University; and Carol H. Burrell, president and CEO of Northeast Georgia Health System.
  • Jacksonville University: Lenny Curry, mayor of Jacksonville, Fla.
  • Northern Virginia Community College: Jill Biden, the wife of the vice president of the United States, and a professor at the college.
  • Regent University: William G. Boykin, a founding member of U.S. Army’s Delta Force.
  • Susquehanna University: New York Times journalist and author Kim Barker.
  • Touro College and University System: Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, chief rabbi of the United Kingdom; Ramanathan Raju, president and CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation; and others.
  • University of Maine at Farmington: Alan Shaw Taylor, a historian at the University of Virginia.
  • University of San Diego: Geoff Tabin, professor of surgery and ophthalmology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and the co-founder and co-director of the Himalayan Cataract Project.
  • Virginia Wesleyan College: Carrie Hessler-Radelet, director of the Peace Corps.
