Nine out of 10 corporate recruiters expect demand for business school graduates to increase or remain stable over the next five years, according to a new survey of corporate recruiters from the Graduate Management Admission Council.

The survey found that the median salary for M.B.A.s is projected to return to its pre-pandemic level, $115,000, after dipping to $105,000 three months into the pandemic.

The survey also found that 91 percent of recruiters expect to hire M.B.A. graduates in 2021, a rebound to pre-pandemic hiring expectations. Before the pandemic, 92 percent of recruiters said they intended to hire M.B.A. graduates in 2020, but the pandemic disrupted those plans and the actual percentage who hired M.B.A.s was, at 80 percent, lower than projected.

The survey received 569 responses from corporate recruiters between Feb. 25 and March 31 of this year.
