The following colleges and universities have announced their commencement speakers for spring 2015:

  • Clark University: Matt Goldman, cofounder of the Blue Man Group and the Blue School, in Manhattan.
  • Dillard University: Denzel Washington, the actor.
  • Ithaca College: Meghan Musnicki, a member of the U.S. national rowing team who earned a gold medal in the women’s eight event at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
  • Messiah College: Marla Frederick, professor of African and African-American studies and the study of religion at Harvard University
  • Olin College of Engineering: David Kelley, founder and chairman of the innovative global design firm IDEO and founder of Stanford University’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design.
  • Siena College: Jeffrey Immelt, GE's chairman and CEO.
  • Stevenson University: John Harbaugh, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens.
  • University of Texas at Austin: Darren Walker, president of the Ford Foundation.
  • Ursinus College: Suzanne Fong, widow of the late president of the college, Bobby Fong.
  • Wheaton College, in Massachusetts: Lisa G. Szarkowski, vice president of humanitarian emergencies and executive communication for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
