Job Changes in Digital Learning

The following people have moved around or up into leadership positions in the field of online learning or digital innovation:

• Bryan Blakeley, former director of operations and learning design at the Boston College Center for Teaching Excellence, in Massachusetts, has been named executive director of the university’s new Center for Digital Innovation in Learning.
• Eric Bullard, associate vice president of international programs and global engagement and dean of the College of Professional and Global Education at California State University at Los Angeles, has been named a dean of continuing education and UCLA Extension at the University of California, Los Angeles.
• Alison S. Carson, professor of psychology at Manhattanville College, in New York, has been chosen as associate provost for academic innovation and design thinking there.
• Lauren Goodman, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Berkshire Community College, in Massachusetts, has been appointed dean of teaching and learning innovation there.
• Robert McDonald, dean of libraries at the University of Colorado at Boulder, has been selected as senior vice provost of online education there.
