Cartoon Caption Contest

Cartoon Caption Contest

Welcome to Inside Higher Ed's monthly Cartoon Caption Contest, featuring the work of Matthew Henry Hall. Each month, we will invite readers to suggest an apt, clever, funny or otherwise outstanding caption for a new cartoon; submissions can be made in the comments section below that cartoon or, if you insist, via e-mail at newsroom@insidehighered.com. (Readers are encouraged to like or endorse their favorites in the comments section, too.)

Vote for your favorite caption for last month's cartoon

And the Winner is...

Congratulations to Carolyn Cardwell, instructional technology administrator at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and winner of our Cartoon Caption Contest for January. Her caption for the cartoon at left -- "This way when the latest big donor gets hauled off to jail we won't have to rename the building." -- was voted our readers' favorite. She will receive an Amazon gift card and a signed copy of the cartoon. Thanks to all for playing.
