The Atlantic Philanthropies on Tuesday announced major grants to promote work on inequality. The fund will provide $91 million to the London School of Economics and Political Science "to cultivate and support a new generation of change makers at LSE’s International Inequalities Institute." In addition, the fund announced a $105 million grant to create the Atlantic Institute, hosted by the Rhodes Trust in Britain. The institute "will act as a hub for a global fellowship programs and other investments in developing leaders and change makers, across countries and disciplines," said a statement from the fund.
