April is always a challenge, so in the spirit of counterprogramming, I have a question for my wise and worldly readers.

Can you share an example of a time when you saw administrators at your college really get it right? To make it more helpful, let’s rule out answers that involve huge influxes of cash. Anyone can be Santa when there’s plenty of money sloshing around. In most colleges now, though, that’s just not the case. I’m looking for examples of times when they did something that enabled folks to do their best work even when money was tight. I’ll share the most encouraging and/or interesting ones.

As always, I can be reached at deandad (at) gmail (dot) com, on Twitter at @deandad or on Mastodon at @deandad at-sign masto (dot) ai.

Thanks!
