California's initiative that allows students enrolled at one two-year institution to take classes at others will add 33 of the state's community colleges to its cohort.
The state in 2016 launched the Online Education Initiative with eight institutions participating. The new cohort, which will begin offering courses on the exchange in fall 2019, will bring the total number of participating institutions to 56.
