• Boyd Bischoff, former director of software development for retail at Amazon, has been named chief information officer and senior vice president of technology at Western Governors University.
• James Chitwood, former vice president of enrollment management at MyFootpath, has been named dean of the online campus at Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
• Emmanuel Giannelis, former professor of engineering at Cornell University, has been named vice provost for research and vice president for technology transfer, intellectual property and research policy at the university.
• Carin Nuernberg, former dean of continuing education at Berklee College of Music, has been named vice president of online education at the college.
• Panos A. Panay, former managing director at Berklee Institute for Creative Entrepreneurship, has been named vice president for innovation and strategy at Berklee College of Music.
• Witt Salley, former dean of the school of online education at Virginia International University, has been named associate provost for academic innovation and support at Maryland University of Integrative Health.
• Lorna C. Shepherd, former associate professor of nutrition at Life University, has been named chair of the master of arts program in health and wellness and the bachelor of science program in maternal and child health at Union Institute & University.
• G. Don Taylor, former professor of industrial and systems engineering at Virginia Tech University, has been named vice provost for learning systems, innovation and effectiveness at the university.
• Greg Theisen, former chief information officer at Post University, has been named chief information and technology officer at the university.
